LOCATION

The weekend will take place entirely at Château du Feÿ in Burgundy, and the majority of guests will also stay on-site.

Venue

We wanted to celebrate our wedding near Paris – the city where we first lived together and where we got engaged.

Château du Feÿ, just outside Paris, is owned by our friend Jess, who turned the historic site into a "place of gathering".

Nestled in a private forest, the château looks over the Yonne river and surrounding villages. Across its 400-year history, it has been frequented by French aristocrats and intellectuals, and in the 1980s, it housed a cooking school.

Since Jess took it over, Château du Feÿ has been hosting an annual festival and artist residencies. See a recent feature in the New York Times.

July weather typically ranges from 28°C (82°F) to 14°C (57°F). You can check the current weather here.

Accommodation

If you stay on-site, you will get all info about your room or glamping tent upon arrival.

Guests will stay across a number of different buildings and accommodations:

  • The Château

  • The Farmhouse

  • The Cottage

  • The Gîte

  • Glamping field with luxury bell tents

  • Domaine Foray in Villecien (4 mins by car)

All rooms and glamping tents come furnished with comfortable beds, electric lighting, power outlets, sheets, towels, soap, etc. Some of the rooms, and all glamping tents, have shared bathrooms.
